Thank you for your interest in joining Stockton Democrats Together (SDT). We are a chartered Democratic club serving Stockton and San Joaquin County, affiliated with the San Joaquin County Democratic Central Committee and the California Democratic Party.

Membership in SDT means more than being on our mailing list. As a member in good standing, you have the right to vote on endorsements, make motions, and participate fully in shaping the direction of our organization — including which candidates we support in local, state, and federal elections.

Who Can Become a Member
To be eligible for membership, you must be a registered Democrat in the state of California. Members of the public are always welcome to attend our meetings and events, but only members in good standing may vote and make motions.

How to Become a Member
Becoming a full voting member in good standing requires three steps. All three must be completed before your membership is confirmed.

Step 1: Register as a Democrat
You must be registered as a Democrat with the California Secretary of State. If you are not yet registered or need to update your party affiliation, you can do so at registertovote.ca.gov.

Registration is free and takes only a few minutes.

Step 2: Pay Your Annual Dues
Dues are paid through our ActBlue page and are valid through December 31 of the membership year in which they are paid.

Current dues rates:

• General membership: $40/year

• Student membership: $5/year

Dues are non-refundable and non-prorated. If you join mid-year, your membership will be active through December 31 of the current calendar year.

Step 3: Complete the Membership Form
Fill out our membership form so we have your information on file. This allows us to verify your registration, add you to the official membership roster, and ensure you receive member communications.
