June 2026 Primary Endorsements

The San Joaquin County Democratic Central Committee has released its official voter guide for the June 2, 2026 California Primary Election. The guide covers statewide offices, congressional and legislative races, and local offices relevant to San Joaquin County voters.

Statewide Offices
The DCC endorsed Secretary of State Dr. Shirley Weber, Attorney General Rob Bonta, and Controller Malia Cohen. No consensus was reached on Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Treasurer, Superintendent of Public Instruction, or Insurance Commissioner.

US Congress & California Legislature
San Joaquin County voters are represented across several congressional and legislative districts. The DCC endorsed:

  • U.S. Congress, CA-05: Michael Masuda

  • U.S. Congress, CA-07: Doris Matsui

  • U.S. Congress, CA-08: John Garamendi

  • U.S. Congress, CA-09: Josh Harder

  • U.S. Congress, CA-13: Adam Gray

  • State Assembly, District 9: Matthew Adams

  • State Assembly, District 13: Rhodesia Ransom

Local Offices

  • County Board of Supervisors, District 4: Travis Castle

  • Stockton City Council, District 1: No consensus — the DCC recommends voters consider one of three acceptable candidates: Annette Sanchez, Lan Nguyen, or Tamica Smalls

How to Vote

Vote on or by June 2, 2026. Return your mail ballot by Election Day or vote in person at any San Joaquin County polling location. Find your polling place and drop box locations at sjgov.org/rov.
